ModaVoxBox

I really enjoyed this Influenster Voxbox! It was full of products and brands I really haven't tried so I loved testing things out and learning about new products. And I couldn't try these awesome products and not share them with all of you so, prepare yourselves for the ModaVoxBox reveal.

Products:

*Puffs SoftPack*
*Hair Food Moisture Hair Mask*
Swiss Miss Simply Cocoa
*Jergens Ultra Healing Extra Dry Skin Moisturizer*
Resource Spring Water
*Rimmel London Scandeleyes Rockin' Curves Mascara*
Rimmel London Moisture Renew Lipstock
Rimmel London Moisture Renew Lip Liner

*products I will definitely buy*

Hair Food by Clairol sold at Target!
This is probably one of my favorite products in the entire box!
When they said hair moisturizer they meant moisturizer to the max. They forgot to mention
that this hair mask smells so good. I'm obsessed with using this and I have to limit myself
to using it once a week because I want the hair mask to be a special treat.

The Scandaleyes Mascara was probably my second favorite product in the VoxBox.
This mascara definitely defined new lashes and I love using it. I actually might
buy this mascara more often because it works so well.

The third product in this VoxBox is definitely one that I am adopting into my
daily routine. The Jergens Ultra Healing Extra Dry Skin Moisturizer has
been doing wonders for my hands! I use it every night before I go to bed and
I absolutely love it! It smells so refreshing and has been helping my hands stay
soft and stop cracking. I literally have the driest hands during the cold winter seasons
so, I really need a good product to keep my hands safe from the harsh dry and cold conditions.

I am a huge advocate for drinking water! I am almost always walking around
with one of my tumblers full of water. I haven't tried the Resource Spring Water yet,
partly because I'm saving it for a time when I need a water bottle and partly because I like
to savor the products I receive from Influenster. But, I'll give it a try soon I promise!

And the last product I'm going to review today is the Puffs SoftPack tissues! This is literally
the cutest packaging and is perfect for on the go tissue use. I'm actually thinking I may put the
softpack in my car so I can use it whenever I need them and they will fit in the console perfectly.

Anyways, that is all for now! I have absolutely loved the products I have tired out and
I can't wait until the next voxbox comes in.
These products were complimentary of Influenster and all opinions are my own.

Gotta {Shave} that Time & Money

As a college student, I am constantly on the go! Whether I am heading to work or leaving class, there always is something to do or someone to see. Now, I would be totally lying if I said I didn't like this on-the-go lifestyle. I love having a busy day and being able to go to sleep knowing I was productive. However, a side effect to having a busy day is stress, and if you're a person who holds a negative view on stress than that could be potentially very harmful to your life.

But, no need to worry! Today I'm writing a post inspired by the Dollar Shave Club to bring you some easy ways to {Shave} Time and Money!

Tips & Tricks:

Shaving Money

one... buy things that you need. I know this seems like a no-brainer, but with the holidays just around the corner, save some extra dollars by buying things that you need/are truly beneficial. I am definitely someone who walks around the store until I find something I "need" because it's really cute... But by acknowledging I do this and sticking to my list, I am able to {shave} money!

two... and on the related note of going into a store... walk in knowing your price cap. Shopping on a budget is a really easy was to {shave} money, but remember you will sometimes have to say no to an item you really want, and that can be hard.

three... look for subscriptions/ coupons! I am a coupon fiend, and I love finding services like Dollar Shave Club which can offer you ways to save without even realizing it. Plus, you can get the opportunity to learn so much about products and different products you like in this way.

Shaving Time

one... plan ahead. Whether that means packing your lunch the night before or writing a detailed schedule on Sunday night to know what you have to do that week, planning ahead can truly help you {shave} time.

two... and once you have planned ahead you also want to stick to your goals and remove any distractions that can waste your time. But, while remembering that even though it is so important to get done your work and any projects coming up, you must also take care of yourself in the process.

How About Shaving In General:

Now shaving might not be a major priority for you... I know that winter is coming so the time of the leg gins, tights, and pants are officially here, but shaving doesn't have to be an inconvenient activity that can be pricey anymore! Dollar Shave Club provides subscription services for $1, $6, or $9 a month and will send you a razor of your choice with a quality blade that will change the way you view shaving forever.

Dating a Steelers Fan

Just a little reminder to sign up for Meg and my "Let's Be
Thankful Swap" on this link! For more details click here :)

Now that we are in the month of November it is time to really express how thankful and grateful we are to the people in our lives (even though we should always express how grateful we are). I've been so blessed to be surrounded and supported by the greatest people in my life. One of these people, often goes above and beyond when it comes to making me feel beautiful and special. He seriously brings out the best in me which, is a little surprising because as a Ravens fan I always thought that Steelers fans were total jerks.

Anyways, even though 85% of his wardrobe is Steelers apparel and he wears this stuff almost all the time. I am endlessly grateful that I have found such a kind and caring man, who loves to watch and play football. We may not agree on what teams to cheer for... but, we genuinely have such a nice time watching the games and the rivalry between our two teams has made our Fall quite interesting.
Driving to school at 7am after the Steelers vs. Ravens Game! I promise he isn't sleeping!

What I mean by interesting is that Josh and I had a little arrangement when our teams battled it out on the football field. So, every time our teams would play each other whoever's team lost would have to wear the other's team's apparel. So, the first time around I got Josh to wear a Superbowl XLVII Champs Ravens t-shirt all day! He got so many compliments and he looked so good (although I think it killed him wearing it). However, what goes around comes around so this past week I had to wear a Steelers jersey because we lost to the Steelers on Sunday night.

Let me just say I don't think I have ever had so many photos taken of me in my entire life. Josh was seriously smitten over the idea that I was wearing his old Steelers jersey. And honestly, although a lot of people gave me crap it was really nice knowing that he was so overjoyed by the fact that I was rocking black and gold. He swears that I'll become a Steelers fan one day.

But, for now I'm going to continue to cover up his Steelers logos and we're going to continue to give each other a playful hard time for what's going on in our teams' football worlds. I have to say even though he is a Steelers fan, I definitely prefer that than him not caring about football at all!
